Jack Wada
Sensei Jack is a Yondan, fourth degree black belt, and National Level Coach whose judo journey began at Gardena Judo Club in 1964. After stepping away from the sport in 1975, he returned in 1988 when the first of his three children began practicing judo. He has continued coaching ever since.
Sensei Jack credits his sensei, Isao Wada, as the greatest influence on his development. He believes judo helps shape individuals who are mentally, physically and morally strong. Through decades of coaching, he has helped generations of students improve their technique, discipline and character.
“Turn your head!”The instruction every Taishi student will recognize.
